Active ingredients

Pyrethrin contains pyrethrin I, pyrethrin II, pyrethrin I, pyrethrin II, jasmonin I and jasmonin II and other insecticidal active substances. Pyrethrin I and pyrethrin II are the above six species The main ingredient in insecticidal ingredients. In addition, it also contains arrow pigment, apigenin and its glycosides, luteolin and other ingredients.

Extraction processing method

Pyrethrum can be used as a solvent such as alcohol, extracted according to conventional methods, and then concentrated to dryness to form a paste.

Pharmacology

Pyrethrum extract is toxic to a variety of insects, such as mosquitoes, flies, bed bugs, and cockroaches. Insects are overexcited and ataxia within 1-2 minutes after exposure to pyrethrin, and are quickly knocked down and paralyzed. However, some insects can be recovered after 1 day. Pyrethrum is a typical insect neurotoxin, and it also produces contact toxicity to cold-blooded vertebrates.
